And, it got me thinking about our own little "rock stars" -- our kids -- and how well they have handled this move... which also got me thinking about all of the things we've "rocked" as a family since we got here:
Living without a dryer for 3 months now: ROCK ON!
Finally finding the perfect balance between laundry soap and fabric softener: ROCK ON!
Becoming a master at figuring out exactly how long it will take certain things to dry on the rack: ROCK ON!
(notice how these are all about laundry... very important in our daily life: ROCK ON!)
Driving on the Pest side without getting lost: ROCK ON!
Finding the 'international food aisle' at Tesco: ROCK ON!
Knowing how to ask the butcher for ground turkey: ROCK ON!
Finding a bakery that makes birthday cakes: ROCK ON!
Converting from Celsius to Fahrenheit: ROCK ON!
Only needing to fill up the gas tank once/month: ROCK ON!
Mastering the Metro system (Travis): ROCK ON!
Converting from Forints to Dollars successfully: ROCK ON!
Making friends with the Bank Manager at CIB: ROCK ON!
Finding a hairdresser I like: ROCK ON!
Not having to clean my house: ROCK ON!
Not having to do yard work: ROCK ON!
Finding the store that has peanut butter: ROCK ON!
Assembling IKEA furniture with amazing speed: ROCK ON!
And.....
Making a life change that we feel good about: ROCK ON!
Ah, KMS! I love it! There's nothing better than that feeling of figuring things out bit by bit...it can be hard won, but then again, so worth it! I continue to be so proud of you guys. As TB would say, "OUTSTANDING!". xxoo
